Mr. Bing Yang was a Managing Director at Cisco Research and Development Center (CRDC) in China, and had the responsibility to manage CRDC operation/strategy and multiple Business Units within the Service Provider Group (SPG) in research and development. Actually he is CEO of Shanghai KJT Cross-borde E-commerce Platform, has the responsibility to its development and operation.

Prior joining Cisco in Feb. 2008, Bing had been serving as the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of New Rock Technologies, Inc., since formation of the company in Sept. 2002 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Shanghai, China in 2003.   New Rock has been developing, marketing and selling Service Provider/Enterprise NGN voice technology and products worldwide.   From 1998 to 2002, Bing served as the founder, Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Engineering of Convergent Networks based in Boston, Massachusetts.  Convergent Networks was the market leader in development NGN softswitch and gateway products and solutions for Service Providers.  

From 1996 to 1998, Bing served as the founder and director of engineering of Cadia Networks (later become part of FORE Systems) in Boston, Massachusetts.  Cadia was the market leader in ATM multi-service access concentrator in the Service Provider market.  From 1986 to 1996, Bing served in Cascade Communications as an ATM switch development manager, in Cabletron System as a Fast Packet Switch ASIC development manager, and in Data General as an storage control ASIC development engineer all in Boston, Massachusetts area.

In 2001, Bing was nominated and elected as one of the top 40 young entrepreneurs less than 40 years old (“40 under 40 award”) in greater Boston, Massachusetts area.

Growing up on the campus of Fudan University, Bing had been educated from his early years attending elementary, middle and high school in the Fudan environment, including the freshman year in Fudan University.  Bing earned his Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering degree in the University of Texas at Austin in 1986 with honor.  While working in Data General as an engineer, Bing earned his Master of Science of Electrical Engineering in the University of New Hampshire in 1992.
