Paul Yao is a global executive with management experience of over 27 years in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management and TIC (testing, inspection and certification) industry. Paul used to be the Group Executive Vice President of Intertek Group plc,  a FTSE 100 company with market capitalisation around GBP5 Billion, managing the Consumer Goods business serving global Retailers and Brands with annual turnover GBP340Million and margin over 30%.

Paul has ventured into e-sourcing business since early 2000 while he was still with Intertek. "TradeGood" was established by as an incubating business venture and this unit successfully recruited over 1,000 supplier membership with contract value over USD7Million in 2013. The proposition of connecting “Responsible Buyers” with “Trusted Suppliers” has earned the unique competitive advantage over other similar e-sourcing operating platform.

Paul left Intertek Group in March and he acquired the new startup “tradeFWD” in April this year. tradeFWD is aimed to disrupt the globa sourcing practice through the proprietary B2B social sourcing Apps for sourcing and QA professionals. Other trade and supply chain related services are valued-added to the Apps to provide a truly m-commerce solution to the industry.
