Partner, Education Lead Alvin Lee
Alvin Lee is Partner at 51VR, and China Venture Partner at 1823 Ventures. He was formerly Coursera’s China Market Lead. Alvin graduated with honors (cum laude, Pi Sigma Alpha) from Yale University as an undergraduate, with a double major in political science and international studies. He has spent time in the Singapore government as a Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholar, working in the Finance and Trade Ministries, as well as the National University of Singapore. He was part of the core team organizing the APEC meetings in Singapore, and has been a speechwriter for the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister of Singapore.
